Our client Aldor wanted to launch their energy drink Enerlife into the South African market but before doing so wanted to test the product amongst consumers. Interact conducted initial focus groups where we tested the perception of the product amongst participants that fitted the profile of the target market. One of the potential issues that was identified early on is that the existing packaging designs didn’t resonate with participants.
Given this, we briefed our design team to come up with a new packing design based on the initial feedback gathered. Our design team created some new packing options which then allowed us to test the new designs within the remaining focus groups. The new packaging was well received and became the basis for the final packaging design.
